I hate when I go for a dental checkup and the dentist puts cotton or gauze on my tongue to hold it. I told him he can't do that with me anymore. Fortunately he is very nice and accommodating so I no longer have to suffer that. |

Wow. I thought I was alone on this one. I hate them. Textural issue. No problems with sounds as you describe. My preferred brands of over the counter medication are partially dictated by whether or not the company puts cotton balls under the safety seal of the bottle. Coping mechanism? I pluck them... |

I hate the way those little wax tissue things they use for toilet paper in some bathrooms feel. And who the heck thought to use that as toilet paper anyway? It's the most useless ineffective sorry excuse for toilet paper that anyone could have ever come up with. We had that in a couple of my schools... |

Wow, I didn't think cotton balls made sound when you pull them apart. Yeah, It's a kind of high pitched kind of tear sound like they are screaming or something. It's really hard to describe it's a weird kind of sound. Now that you know they make a sound I am curious if you can hear it. Take a cotto... |

And not being able to come up with the positive things does not mean they are not there. I know I have a hard time being positive about my life, but if I'm in a good mood and reflect I see so much to be grateful for, but otherwise I can't think of too much because I'm too focused on the bad. That i... |

You could take turns doing each on a different day. Like on Monday you spend time on one, on Tuesday on another and so forth. |

You are not cursed. Sometimes we tend to focus on negative things and make them more personal than they are because we can see coincidences. But I am sure that for as many negative things as you find you can also find very positive things and maybe even more. You might give that a try and see what c... |

Definitely all of the above. I am sure I will think of more later. Fnord, you mentioned " I need your decision now." I have so much trouble when someone wants to know how I am feeling or what I am thinking or what I want NOW. Why do we have so much trouble with this? Sometimes when people insist tha... |

You can certainly have more than one interest at a time. Sometimes you might be more on one than the other. That is fine. And if one happens to fade out that is perfectly fine too. It's all good. Just enjoy them. Trust me, there is no special interest police. |

I don't have any idea why it was hysterically funny to me when I found out my brother got a bad tooth infection and could not eat for four days. I felt really bad for him and I know he was hurting and I adore my brother so it should not have been funny at all. But for whatever reason I just busted u... |

The medic alert bracelet is a very good idea. You can order them online or get them at any local pharmacy. I wear a ROAD ID. I love that because it has a pin number that any first responder can put in and get any emergency contacts or any medical I choose to put in there. I have my blood type and l... |

Hi Kayla, Welcome to WP. It is very frustrating to go through this. I think The idea of going through your school may be your best option if you want to pursue this now. Otherwise, if you are able to wait two more years until you are of legal age that might be the best option. Finding out whether or... |
