There has to be more to this. I find it highly unlikely that such a project would be called off because of two individuals. I imagine the whole community complained about the noise and the eyesore, but the BBC chose to focus on these two little boys as the blame.

Okay, it's clear that you don't understand me. I won't argue this any further. It's okay for you to have your opinion, I respect that. I just ask that you respect mine.

I understand exactly why it's a crime. I also understand exactly why it's a crime for the parties involved, no matter their age, to film the acts. That was my point - the age of the children committing the crime of filming the acts does not matter, they still committed a crime. It matters in respec...

Child porn is child porn, and the young people filming the acts are old enough to know better than to commit such a grave crime. I have no sympathy for the criminals in these cases, no matter their age. Do you understand why child porn is a crime? It is a crime because the children involved are not...

Sorry to intrude, but just wondering if "Britons" is really an existing word? o.O It just sounds odd to me... (Sorry for having nothing constructive to say about your elections ._. )

It's a real word. We just don't have much use for it on this side of the pond. ;)

You might want to consider checking out your local mental health department (I can't speak for where you live, but Shasta County has one, so I'm assuming other California counties have one). When I lived up there and was receiving services through the county, my last psychiatrist had me placed on a ...

From what I understand, I was born in distress, and had my cord wrapped around my neck. To make things worse, the hospital would not admit my mother until she was (nearly?) fully dilated for some reason (she was 17 and uninsured, which I don't doubt played a part). I was also jaundiced at birth. My ...

I've learned that April Fool's Day gets more and more lame as the years go by. This year, the only pranks that really made me chuckle was Google's renaming to Topeka (since Topeka is about an hour away from here, their unofficial renaming to Google last month made news here, so I got it right away) ...

1. What's your take on this scenario you just witnessed? Team Parents. All the way. 2. Did you find it hard to watch? Why? Maybe a little bit. It's never easy watching a child have a hissy fit in a public setting. 3. What you you think is going through the child's mind at that moment? I've watched e...

I stopped going to Walmart after moving back to Kansas City. My local one is a nightmare - it's always packed, the parking lot is tiny (it's a Supercenter that was converted from a standard mid-90s store), the lighting in that place is way too bright... I could go on and on. Sundays are the worst, a...

I was on Celexa (name brand of Citalopram here in the States) about eight years ago. I didn't really notice much difference in me. Of course, it seems like I've been on half of the major anti-depressants since I was seventeen. I felt like only a few of them worked, and only for a short time. I'm on ...
