I think people are underestimating what a difficult and processor intensive process emulation is.
Going by the logic in this thread the PS3 should have been able to emulate the Wii a few times over. That didn't happen. |

Pokemon Stadium did it.
I imagine the 3D battles will probably just add to the pacing issues. Hopefully there will still be a way to turn battle animations off. |

| While I can understand the importance of discussing privilege, I don't think that it's really productive to bicker over who has it more difficult. People are dealt a lot of bad hands. Arguing over who has it harder or who deserves more only serves to divide people. |

| The huge amount of jrpgs for ps/ps2 are why those are my favorite consoles. If you don't mind older graphics, pick up an emulator for SNES. | I'm pretty content just playing old games for the rest of my life. There's a lifetime's worth of quality in Nintendo's back catalog. They could drop off the face of the Earth tomorrow and I probably wouldn't notice or care. The MOTHER trilogy is complete. |
