I've made a few attempts at playing 1 and 2. The series is just too hardcore for me, and the amount of customization and complexity of the skill-tree system just adds to that. But the fact that it exists and these games are being made, I really appreciate that. I'm more of a Dark Spire fan. It was a... |

Probably my favorite controller. A fantastic d-pad that was criminally underused. |

I think people are underestimating what a difficult and processor intensive process emulation is.
Going by the logic in this thread the PS3 should have been able to emulate the Wii a few times over. That didn't happen. |

Pokemon Stadium did it.
I imagine the 3D battles will probably just add to the pacing issues. Hopefully there will still be a way to turn battle animations off. |

While I can understand the importance of discussing privilege, I don't think that it's really productive to bicker over who has it more difficult. People are dealt a lot of bad hands. Arguing over who has it harder or who deserves more only serves to divide people. |

The huge amount of jrpgs for ps/ps2 are why those are my favorite consoles. If you don't mind older graphics, pick up an emulator for SNES. SNES had a lot of classics, like Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana and the early Final Fantasy games. And Earthbound. Earthbound is essential. Game Boy Color has ... |

DS was the king of JRPG systems last gen. So many underrated gems. Definitely get one of those. And a GBA (even if it was mostly SNES ports). |

I would love a new Star Tropics game. One of the best and most underrated games for the NES. Mother 3 not getting a US release (and Earthbound never getting a rerelease) allegedly had more to do with copyright issues, especially in regards to the music. However, I'm currently playing through the Mot... |

I mainly watch Japanese anime though which is anywhere from children level to teen/adult(e.g Digimon,Beyblade in comparison to something like When They Cry and Death Note). Beyblade is adult. It has partial nudity and swearing in Japan. And the blades are made of real metal and are more dangerous t... |

Also, I have been playing Fire Emblem: Awakening on the 3DS lately, it makes me wonder two things. Why did Nintendo not release them in the US originally? The first 6 were Japan-only releases Probably had to do with RPGs and strategy games not really having enough demand in the US at the time. The ... |

I'm pretty content just playing old games for the rest of my life. There's a lifetime's worth of quality in Nintendo's back catalog. They could drop off the face of the Earth tomorrow and I probably wouldn't notice or care. The MOTHER trilogy is complete. |
