Thomas1138, lol i'm not complaining i'm just stating that there was problems with the tests, i'm not saying its right or wrong but i believe they need to revise the test and make sure everyone who takes it actually was taught the material. also high school is not a job career or doctors office, so c... |

well theres a problem cause not all the students were being taught which was on the test, ok perhaps it was state test or not but i was told if i didn't pass the test i wouldn't graduate, they removed it couple months before i graduated. |

i got migraines all though highschool, it was a nightmare, went home sick alot, wierd thing is after the migraine i would start getting like a flu.. which would last for 24-48 hours, so painful.. |

thought this was interesting article, scientists think autism is part of the mental illness/depression family, if this is true the stats should be below in 1 out of 150 in the coming years. .pretty scary with the wars and our troops coming home with depression and mental illness, but this also goes ... |

i had alot of friends at that age, i haven't had any friends since high school, 10 yrs ago. i was diagnosed with depression, anxiety, ptsd and alot of others that pretty much add up to aspergers to 100%. the thing about it in my childhood autism wasn't even known.. it was considered only a learning ... |

well i graduated from high school in 2000 but i can say in california they were working on the no child left behind when i was in school, I had a 3.8 gpa and a honor roll student all though school, and i almost didn't graduate from high school cause of the tests. of course they removed it before i g... |

you really need to define different Greentea. If you define different as not having any friends now if you define different as not being social now if you define different as personality changes now if you define different as having trouble sleeping now then I guess you can be considered different, ... |

well i had the right early intervention at childhood, had tons of friends, I mean alot of friends about 10+ did well in school, even though i lost 2 of my family members i stayed strong for 20+ years then i lost my uncle who was very close about 4-5 years ago, and almost lost my grandmother to heart... |

Subaru, i'm an 28 yr old with aspergers a long with a bunch of other diagnoses which equals the aspie label. hello Allison, i'm also 28, welcome to wp, I pretty much just call it autism or aspergers or whatever on the forum. i don't mention it to anyone else offline, cause they don't understand it. I usually say anxiety, depression etc offline. |
