And my argument wasn't actually Reductio ad Hitlerum, else I would have said, "Hitler supported population control laws, therefore they must be evil." Which is not what I said or implied in any way. If you didn't mean to imply it, then why bring it up in the first place? Why not just state why you ...

I fail to see how I lose. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reductio_ad_Hitlerum Anyway, the democratic system is far from perfect, but I think it's way better than the kind of life that anarchy would bring. Most of you wouldn't last very long under anarchy... I never suggested anarchy. And my argument ...

OK, we get the point. I disagree with the point anyway. Hitler could well have used the same argument to justify the Nazi regime. (Sorry to use that old debate cliche, LOL.) BZZZZZT, you lose! I fail to see how I lose. In fact, I think you just got uber-pwned (or would that be cyber-pwned... ...

My religious history is remarkably similar to the OP's, actually. I was born and raised an Anglican, as my grandparents were very religious and my grandad was a vicar. I became an Atheist at a very young age, around eight years old probably. Then two years ago I was a Buddhist. Recently, I decided a...

Right, you're in an argument/discussion/debate with someone at school or work or home or wherever, and you say something, and then they say: "In your opinion!" Well DUH. In an argument/discussion/debate, what I say is my opinion, so why state the obvious?! My mum does it all the time, and my copycat...

LOL, that would be a funny headline!

It was/is mostly Sarah Palin coming up with the crackpot ret*d policies, though.

By the way, I know exactly why certain people think I'm depressed. It's because the sight of them makes me depressed. It's like I'm holding my breath, waiting for a chance to get away. That's like me with my grandma! She always thinks I look depressed cos I'm quiet and won't speak to her, but actua...

On the political compass, I got libertarian liberal, which I already knew I was. So I'm in the same category as Nelson Mandela and the Dalai Lama, which is cool.

PS, George Bush is in the same category as Hitler. Also an inevitability, LOL...

They soon started to realise that I was acting up TO get suspended. What, just to get out of school? I'm currently working on getting put in isolation because: a) I won't have to listen to all the jackasses in class. and b) I'm writing a book where the main character gets put in isolation, and I do...

They should stop letting any randomers have kids, I reckon. I've always wondered about how they screen who can adopt, but anyone who gets knocked up is allowed to raise children. What gives? The outcome is the same. And some of you need to remember that it isn't realistic to ban everything we don't ...

Blimey. If I'd known my suspicions could get me money from a newspaper back then, I would've sold my story! Seriously though, how did that get in the news? My thoughts exactly. Though bear in mind this is Yorkshire. Believe me, every day is a slow news day in Yorkshire. Then something HAPPENS (like...

Well, that's a bit harsh. A better punishment would be for his dad to ride the school bus with him, then he can keep an eye on his behaviour, plus it would be one of those "oh-no-not-in-front-of-my-mates!" punishments.

I don't see the point of that whole "protecting innocence" thing, cos by innocence they basically mean ignorance, and who the hell would want that?!

Strictly speaking, loss of sexual innocence - gaining any type of sexual knowledge - means a loss of virginity. . So, knowing about sex means you ain't a virgin anymore? That's actually cool, cos next time someone asks me if I'm a virgin, I can say no and let them draw their own conclusions...
