Reciprocation is my BFF listens to me go on about myself, concerns or special interest for however long and then I listen to her go on about herself, concerns or special interest for however long. For all I know Meerkat appreciates a friend who's passionate about owls or reciprocates in other ways....

There's a big difference between "I'm really interested in meerkats" and "I'm interested in animals, especially meerkats." Meeting someone interested in animals is quite likely. Lots of couples these days have pets instead of children. Your attitude comes across to me as "y...

Narrow, restricted interests naturally pose a sharing problem. My interests are often pretty narrow, which probably helps explain why I don't have millions of friends. I guess it's a choice between the misery of loneliness and the misery of foregoing special interests and trying to take an interest...

Maybe make some original movies and concepts instead of making "live action" remakes of older films. Bring back traditional 2-D animation.

Only movie I wanted to see this year was Guardians of the Galaxy 3 and I was NOT disappointed. Barbie and Oppenheimer both seemed equally boring to me.

It all depended on the teacher. Ones who liked me and were willing to work with me and choose their battles, it was great. Others who were on a power trip and probably were not so good. I wasn't really interested in making friends but occasionally I did have a few. Usually they had to be facilitated...

I've been seeing post after post on Twitter (or X) about how Rocket Racoon is autistic and every fan of his seems to be autistic or suspects themselves to be. I like him because I find him relatable so I guess him.

Yes, if someone is trolling me first. Trolling trolls is the best. I remember once someone said my eyes should be fed to my pet lizard. I trolled back with, "Yes, I used to feed her my eyes as part of her regular diet but the vet said she was getting too fat and I had to cut back and stick wit...

Special interests, obsessions, passions, hyperfocus, whatever you want to call them have always been my strongest autistic trait. They've always been animal related in one way or another this species or that species, this animal character or that one or a carrier field related to them. Meerkats have...

I never had a decent therapist since I turned 15. My insurance only covers ones that are fresh out of online school and don't know jack about autism. All the "specialists" are either frauds or only see children. All the ones that claim they see autistic adults either aren't taking new clie...

Yes when I was on a bunch of meds as a teenager. I think I was having seizures but in my neck of the woods, you could only have a seizure if you were on the floor jerking around.
