Also, there are co-ops and worker-owned businesses.

Try saying "between leases" instead of "homeless" to make it clear that it's a temporary situation and you need someplace to crash briefly until you can find a place of your own and get things sorted out. You mentioned this first woman was from a church you attended. Go there tom...

At the level you're talking about, a billion dollars doesn't do much of anything. Sure, if all unions across all industries banded together they could buy a handful of medium sized companies, but certainly not the whole industry that employs their members. And of course then they'd have to justify t...

You don't even know me, and you call me a hypocrite. That means the truth is hurting  No, it means you are being inconsistent and I'm calling you out on it. Case in point: But yeah I am big time anti-tax. Then quit using government services that are funded by those taxes. I am citing policies...

Are you saying that throughout history whenever a country did not have certain amount of taxes, then the people lived uncivilized? When exactly did the people of the United States become civilized ? Was it before the federal income tax or after ? After right? So everyone in the 1800s were unciviliz...

What's perverted about caring for the needy? Bernie Sanders idea of "caring for the needy" is to put his foot on your throat and demand money from you. It's morally wrong. Taxation is the price for living in a civilized society. If you don't like it, get off our tax-funded roads and off o...

Alright well I will look that up, as well as research your claim that organic farms all use crude poisons that kill anything I didn't say "all." But the classes of pesticides that are permitted on farms that call themselves "organic" is limited and excludes more modern pesticide...

Both white supremacist regimes. And in modern times there's lots of overlap between the people who admire the two and use their imagery. Apples to oranges comparison. Show me the calculated genocide of millions and the brutal expansion across a continent that would have had to happened by confedera...

Biden served in the US senate from 1973 to 2009 and has been Vice President since. Chaired committees, passed legislation, all that. Hillary was Bill's wife, do nothing senator for 8 years, then a disaster as Secretary of State with scandal all the way thru. Hillary isn't Bill and lacks his politic...

What led to secession and what the war was fought for aren't the same thing, Yes it was. Or rather, secession was the proximate cause of the war, and the cause of secession (slavery) was therefore the root cause of the war. do you believe that war would of happened without secession? Do you think s...

I do dislike that it seems they have an underlying goal of having a monopoly on the worlds crops and food...one organization having that much power isn't a good thing even if there are positive aspects of genetically modifying food Sure, so let's all agree on the need for better antitrust laws. And...

Yes I am quite aware they also use pesticides...but I was more referring to the specific pesticides they design GMO crops to withstand due to their harsh/powerful chemical properties that is likely damaging to any natural plant life, pretty sure organic farms don't use those ones. See, this is the ...

Joe Biden I think is probably the more credible candidate, his resume trumps Hillary's easily and he's a likeable person. That's a strong claim. Hillary has extensive experience in a variety of governmental roles. Biden has only been a Senator and a VP. I wouldn't mind a Biden candidacy at all, but...

Except it wasn't some righteous black and white war between good and evil to end slavery, that might be what you want to believe but that isn't the reality. You're welcome to disagree with every contemporary Confederate leader on their reasons for starting the war. Not sure how you would plan to pr...

To the comments about Kentucky - they didn't secede, but the state was pretty evenly split. They attempted to remain "neutral" for a time in the war, and it wasn't rare for Kentuckians to go south to join the Confederate army. Equating the confederacy with the third reich. Yeah. Pro...

it seems more like the purpose of GMO is to give certain companies monopoly on the crops/food grown throughout the world, so people will have to depend upon them for food....when their toxic pesticides these crops have been made to withstand and political lobbying effectively stops organic and/or g...
