No, you don't have to make friends with anyone you don't want to be friends with, even if you don't have a "good reason" to not make friends. If there's any pressure at all to make friends with people, whether that be from the outside or yourself, the situation is going to be awkward at best. |

To some extent, I'm the same way. My friend told me that you have to take time to read my face, but if you do, my face is pretty expressive. |

I have songs stuck in my head. More specifically, I have a few lines stuck in my head a lot, unless I happen to listening to music. I find it annoying, but listening to music is fun. |

The Einstein/autism hypothesis is a plausible one. Italicized are the traits Einstein probably had. So, depending on whether there was what they call a "significant impairment", Einstein may well have been autistic. Einstein's autistic traits included: --Speech delay --Naivete --Lack of tact --Obse... |

I'm incredibly introverted--I'm very hermit-like, even if I'm not a hermit. So, of course, being alone works for me. Part of it is so I can stomp around, growl, shout, talk to myself, etc. if I have to, and also so I can lie down. |

Sorry. Unless your mom comes on here and says "I think I have autism", I'm not going to believe it. |

Maturity has helped. I haven't monologued at all since I was a child. I really do mean "child" in this context. I didn't monologue at all as a teenager. So has my disposition and mild ataxic CP--I'm incredibly introverted, and have slight speech difficulties, so I simply didn't monologue a lot to be... |

I can be quite possessive sometimes, but it seems to pop up randomly and not very often. I just get anxious sometimes when people touch my things. |

I am touch hyposensitive, so cuddling, hugging, and holding hands is sometimes an option. You can make eye contact, talk, or you can do neither, and you're still interacting.
Interactions don't need to be verbal for it to be an interaction. |

Not everyone with autism is going to have a special interest. If you don't, that's okay. Instead of trying to get one, embrace it.
I enjoy life more now that I'm not as obsessive. |
