Is logic another thing you don't believe in?

yes, another construct of humans

Yet an Ad hominem is a logical fallacy. If you don't believe in logic, then why complain about Ad hominems?

I think Aspies may come off as more...egocentric...sometimes, but that's just because they have difficulty seeing another's wants and needs. I don't think that it's because they are being spoilt brats or malicious.

This isn't about physics, I don't have undergrad training in physics, mine is in biological sciences. I was hoping that you would watch the video (though it was a rather misplaced hope) because your distrust of science does seem that way, and I was hoping you would actually learn something about the...

I post often about physicists on this site. The smartest people in physics grabble with trying understand reality. What do you know that they don't? You say "wrong" but you don't indicate you know anything? If you know something, then fame and fortunate await you. The truth is that you do...

I imagine there are a fair number of men who would feel threatened by an intelligent woman. I, personally, find intelligence to be a huge turn-on. However, I've also met a fair number of women, online and in real life, whose position was a lot more "It's important that people acknowledge my in...

Scientists are mostly con-men that seek money by pretending they know what they're talking about. These con-men are nefarious and dangerous, because their PHD degree gives them respect, and power over people. God, what a load of shyte. Do you have ANY evidence whatsoever to back up your, positively...

I'm going to echo Chronos' reply and add that she might just be having an 'off' day, maybe it doesn't have to do directly with you. Maybe she just doesn't know how to not vent whatever frustration she's feeling on easy targets (people who take it and don't complain). I wouldn't beat myself up over i...

Thank you for your reply. :) As I'm not a professional author I don't expect to be making a lot of money through selling my book. Instead, I'll be content with just making a little extra. I am aware that one needs to promote one's book if it is self-published, if only I had the time and especially t...

A lot of stupid people really just flat-out don't like intelligent people, they even assume that there's something wrong with them more often than not because they can't make sense of the person's behavior. Really, quite often, it seems like the more subtle things seem out of place with a person th...

God is a concept of a supernatural being, created in Man's image by flawed human minds. There are as many 'gods' as there are believers in the world.

I don't know, I never bothered asking a man who hates intelligent women why. I do have some hypotheses, however. 1) Like attracts like. A stupid man will generally not do well with an intelligent woman. The inverse is also true. 2) If one is intelligent one is more likely to be independently minded ...

I don't know, I guess I just can't imagine myself as being anything other than human.

I value so many typically human things such as science and knowledge more than I value happiness or feelings.
