Anybody (besides me) else talk in a sing-song voice so that they are practicly singing everything. I find it to be alot easier that talking in a normal voice. Sometimes. I think i more tend to sing according to my emotions. I sing a lot, and apparently people tell me I sing even more than I think i...

One article I have come across indicates girls are more likely to engage in apparently imaginative play (for instance incorporating themes like princesses, unicorns) according to the anecdotal experience of the author. Other literature I have read indicates that females are more likely to be better...

I love this topic! Yes, I think about this a lot. Personally I'm a poet, a song writer, and an artist. I hope to be a novelist, but have so far produced -3.5 things worth mentioning. I think in some ways we are the unfortunates, as other organisms can enjoy their existence with a purity of mind and ...

i found college has really helped. I'm still having to go live at home on the holidays (my parents are paying for college) but it's sort of halfway - im not quite ready to be fully independent yet. I've had a few one off jobs but I'm hoping to get a proper ongoing part time job (alongside full time ...

lol yeah that sucks. I don't like talking to unintelligent people either really. I think reading books is a far better alternative. :) But yeah, nowadays I have quite a few friends and I do really enjoy communicating - I think I learnt to appreciate the world outside my books eventually.

(I'm a girl btw) Yeah, you're right, it can't really be defined by a set of characteristics. I just listed the ones that I've noticed most repeated in my research. And in all honestly, I'd be a hypocrite for disliking someone for voicing their opinion. ;) I'm not sure about lack of empathy being th...

I wouldn't trust those tests. I am an aspie medically diagnosed at age 12, and I have taken several of those tests, some which said I was and some said I wasn't. Most of the stuff in those tests I found was only really relevant to children, not aspie adults - thus the non-diagnosis. I do think (fro...

thanks have you got anyother great info? :D Um yeah, like the others said, I do find writing stuff down helps just for the sake of venting. But i don't mean like a journal entry or whatever. I just write random words, draw scribbles, anything that flows out of the confusion, I don't try to fo...

~I originally posted this as a reply, but it's so comprehensive I thought it might be useful as a topic in itself.~ Hey I think I fit almost perfectly into your category - no friends at school, lots of friends at college. I'm a girl though, and not really interested in the whole "hooking up" side of...

Having some sort of repetitive mindless activity to fall upon when you lose focus. That way, while you're unfocused you don't get drawn into doing something else and skip the work all together. I do the activity until I get bored of it (if it is reasonably mindless, this will happen after about 5 to...

I got pretty fat during my junior year in high school because I didn't exercise much, I spent...
