I myself am somewhat of a greedy capatalistic ape, but I don't like capatalism as a whole. Marx said capatalism was just neccesary as a stepping stone. My goal is eventually to get enough money so I can use it for philanthropic purposes and make a better world for all, since this dystopia must end....

Thanks for calling my attention to these matters. I've taken some brief notes on the above and will Google some of this stuff later. Also, I would appreciate it very much if you could post links to sources you especially recommend. Perhaps some of it will be worth discussing in future chat meetings...

I’m sorry, I’m having trouble comprehending how a “non invasive”cap can “emit(..) light into the brain” Skulls are opaque, are they not? Ironically I was watching a doctor a few days ago talk about cancer prevention and he was mentioning that being outside in cloud cover or mild sunlight allows inf...

My eye contact isn't horrible but I make it a point to look away a lot because I've noticed it's easy to freak people out if they feel like your gaze is penetrating into their character too far (I didn't understand that back when I'd believed that life was about cooperation and 'playing along to get...

I tend to have this more with IRL communication and social norms more often than with social media. On Facebook I've been in groups where it really was like participating with robots where I was outside the algorithm and forever out of sync with the group mind, to which point once I realized nothing...

Even worse - you can lose any right to be your own person because there's no space left between survival and the need to completely rewrite your personality, beliefs, conscience, etc. for surviving the immediate environment. This is one of the reasons why we absolutely need a better-organized autis...

I think you're right. Life is just so competitive now that we are all encouraged to hate each other and not see any allies...or friends. We have all been set against each other, desperately working all hours of the day and night to earn enough to live on. There's no room for friends if we spend all...

And social climbing is emphatically NOT what autistic people are interested in. So I think that these days we are seen as no-hopers because we don't know how to schmooze and be fake so we can climb the social ladder. Total agreement, that most autistic ppl aren't interested in "social climbing...

Here's another fun instance. I build a program for a company, they're beginning to add users to the maintenance tables and our client told me that he had an error when trying to put in a particular new user. I ask him if he could make a mock-up of that user's information to send via email (so her na...

I think there's enough signal to suggest that It is, just that our survival priorities might make It hard to relate to when so often the games It's playing with us cut across grain with that (stating that from the panentheistic rather than theistic perspective).

When I stopped using assistive devices and started driving again, I got more weird looks. Invisible disabilities are very difficult to deal with. My life experience suggests that they're looking to treat each other like crap anyway and accordingly look for anyone whose fair game. Hidden disabilitie...

Upon consideration, I’d say that when I make a faux pas of the NT sort, people are likely to see me as a batty old lady, rather than weird. So, yes, getting older does give NTs another option. They can make the assumption your problems are due to age, rather than autism, which they would just see a...

^ I don't blame the left or the right particularly. I think it's just a sad part of human nature, that people in general tend to make up arbitrary rules and they fail to weigh up the harm and good those rules might do before they unleash them onto everybody. I think that's the point often enough, i...
