This is really interesting, thanks for sharing the link. As I'm getting older, I've been doing less intense exercise and playing less team sports, so I'm getting less oxytocin. Has anyone here tried taking it for anything besides inducing labor?

This is so interesting. I like it here. On any other forum, you either wouldn't see this question, or you wouldn't see understanding conversation. I've always disliked children. When I actually had my own, I definitely had some "what have I done?" moments. But somehow, my children turned o...

As a person who used to open up full throttle if I somehow got comfortable in a social situation, I have had to learn how to dial it back. The only thing hurtful about it was the fact that I was unaware of my ASD/ADD, so I thought I was just sucky at life. I think that if your friend begins to learn...

There are lots of great ideas here. Too many to read them all. I tried to search for my suggestion, thinking it's probably 'asked and answered' but couldn't come up with narrow enough search terms. I was very surprised to find a required binary gender tag in the registration process. Is this a limit...

This sounds exactly like something that would happen to me. I don't know about song sharing pages on FB, but I do know there are a ton of bots on FB in general, and it wouldn't surprise me a bit if there were sharing sites where many or most participants are bots and respond based on algorithms. Alt...

I didn't used to think about it at all. I'd go on a date or a business lunch and sometimes end up wearing about 5% of my food without noticing till after. Once I got married and had kids, I internalized a critical voice that told me how to behave proper and set a good example. It was then that I beg...

I forgot to mention. I have found that traditional ideas about gender only add to the world's tendency to misunderstand me. I was surprised to find that the registration process required a person to choose a gender from such a short list. I did not find myself there.

9 years ago, when I was diagnosed with ADHD, I vaguely remember looking up Aspergers, or asking my doc about it, or something. Anyway, somehow I got the idea that people with Aspergers would walk into a room where someone was watching tv, and stand between that person and the tv and start flipping c...
