God is good. All the time. img http://richardathome.files.wordpress.com/2007/07/epicurus-quote.jpg /img The logic of this is non-existant. If God is not actively good, he obviously must be evil? Could it be, instead, just maybe , that "perfect" does not mean "perfectly good," but rather "perfect," ...

Islam taxed it's members in the past, and taxed non-members even more so. Christianity was supported by tithing, something the mormon church still does. I don't see how any religion can be claimed to be any less of a money making scheme than another. You mean like the morality of the crusades? I'm ...

I usually am able to tell how people are feeling better than most people I know. I generally have to shut off my empathy when I'm around people.

I was indeed pitied when I was younger. I was bullied a lot, I suppose because of my autism. I still am, in fact. People pity me for that. Even when my feelings of anger towards the person bullying me have long since vanished, others are still thinking about it and are pitying me. In some ways, this...

I posted some things about math and relaxation on dA. As I would rather not re-type it, I will quote it here: I have this theory about math, and it's yet to fail me: Math is hard because people believe it's hard. Every time that I've shown someone proof that they can do math without much difficulty,...

This was actually a necessity for me when I lived in a studio apartment. I had only one sink, and that was for the bathroom. I literally could not wash dishes in that sink. I ended up using Dixie Stoneware plates and bowls, because I also did not have a stove or conventional oven. I lived pretty muc...

I reject the idea that popularity has one defining requirement, or even multiple ones, especially manipulation. If manipulation capability was the determiner of popularity, I'd be the most popular person anywhere I went. As I understand it, in Japan, academic ability assists in a person's ability to...
