Is anyone else interested in LotR or X-Men type RP? I've been creating a mutant character, and I'd like the chance to write her a little more.

PM or e-mail me if you're interested.

Our biochemistry class was probably the most confusing/difficult thing I've ever attempted before. I'm strong in chemistry (both general and organic), but biochemistry has a lot of biology, which I'm not very strong in. I much prefer physics over biology (even if biology is interesting, it doesn't ...

I have had one or two classes like that. Most are to fulfull distribution or general education requirements. Most professors realize that no one really wants to be there in these classes except maybe one or two people who are in that major... It's much better than high school though because usually...

Aye, it's the smart professors who really get my attention and I learn more in those classes. It was the same way with some of my teachers in high school; I can sense if they don't know the stuff they're teaching - or if they aren't excited about it. Most of the professors at my school are really a...

Hey, arguing over religion and philosophy is not the point of this thread and nor is it the point of this forum. If you really want to argue over that, please do it elsewhere. That being said, for physics, try and pick up a copy of a different physics book. I went to a Christian school through high...

Faith-based organizations are good to get involved with. I'm part of the science/pre-med club at my school and I'm looking into starting a section of the science club devoted more to forensic science (rather than strictly medicine). I'm also part of the karate club and we have training sessions and...

I go to a school with fairly strict rules, but I still hear about all sorts of parties that happen off-campus. Thankfully, I'm the type of person to stay holed up in the dorm room with a good book or art project and a movie on Friday and Saturday nights... well, when I'm not doing homework, that is...

I've always had an innate sense of math and the ability to do mental calculations rapidly and accurately. A few years ago, I was tutoring in chemistry and had the answer before I even knew how to do the problem. When I told my friend (who was listening in on the conversation I was having with the g...

I hardly ever drink caffeine, but I'm a little wierd like that. If I do, it's usually Earl Grey tea and not coffee.

I'd advocate for computer science, physics, chemistry or anything like that. Sure you'll be working in a lab (probably) if you do physics or chemistry, but the people who spend all day in the lab are usually pretty good people to work with.

I've had both experiences. Last year, I had a roommate, which worked out pretty well. At the beginning of the year, I told her what to expect from me and both of us knew what was going on. It was good and we both granted each other privacy when it was needed. This year, I have a single room because...

I have a facebook, but I'm rarely on it. I also have a myspace, but I never do anything on it. Most of what I use facebook for is to help keep in touch with a few friends from high school. It's kind of overrated.

Personally, capitalized letters are harder for me to read than lowercase ones.

I'm decent at math and am a physical chemistry major. So, basically, I'm a chemistry major and take the physical chemistry classes and then a few upper division physics classes.
