Most do it for spare money only

You get to do your own thing Without sounding sexist or downplaying your struggle i think Aspergers can sometimes be easier for a woman than a man. In most global societies women can get away with not having a career, bei...

If the US were smart they would have left China alone to concentrate their efforts against Russia. They could have potentially wooed China on their side and they might have believed it was in their interests to pivot to US. I use the past tense because that ship has sailed. The idiocy of Trump`s ant...

From what I know: ABA is just a method of training. It can be employed for teaching something useful and that's okay. The problem is, it's commonly used with a goal of making one "indistinguishable from their peers" - which means forcing one to supress expression their needs and feelings ...

Autistic, can’t socialize, not human, will never achieve the dreams you have for them etc, etc. Autism is one condition but an umbrella term so for some more disabled autistic kids the parents will be quite rightly wanting to treat their autism. Those with milder symptoms are likely to be diagnosed...

They are also some of the most dumbest people around. :D

Polish media say counter-offensive in Kherson region has started... of course, no details until it's over. They may regain the areas West to Dnipro in this operation - including the biggest city captured after Feb 24. I really hope they succeed without much losses. A tool for tracking wildfires can...

There is no biological marker for autism at present so it’s all down to an assessor asking questions and observing. If your an adult and not diagnosed yet it’s likely you have mild symptoms so opinion will be subjective sometimes. Unless you are needing a diagnosis to unlock help / welfare the doubt...

Neurodiversity paradigm is outside of science so why would science recognize her any more than they recognize The Bible or Adam and Eve? The article contradicts itself in implying the acknowledgement that autism is a disability. Well disability is science based. There is a biological reason why an a...

Yes, their biggest flaw is they usually talk about autism as falsely just one condition they think every other autistic person is just like them. Who, exactly, makes this claim? Can you provide an example? Almost everyone who claims to explain autism but gives a one sided picture of autism omitting...
