I've been seeing a fellow Aspie for the last six weeks now and it's just, well, cruising along nicely. It's a bit unusual though, first time with an Aspie for either of us and it takes a bit of getting used to each other's quirks...

it is pretty ridiculous, I understand using ancient texts as a reference, but science creates our world, science has too many possibilities yet unexplored, why waste time with faith? I'd rather believe conciousness is the result of the way the universe works, than believe that the universe was crea...

I've always thought that Greg House on House, M.D. was an Aspie. Then, in the episode last night, they said straight out that he doesn't have Aspergers. I was actually let down. Does (did) anyone else think that character is an Aspie? Thanks, Brooke I'm not sure, but I think it's interesting to bea...

Mr. Pignon (can't remember his first name), played by Daniel Autueil in Le Placard (The Closet). He is someone you can't have any idea at the start of the film how warm and kind-hearted he is, but even as he comes out of his shell he still makes these appalling gaffes and upsets people.

I play clarinet, with a strong preference for jazz to classical. Trouble is that the clarinet tends to be more common in trad jazz music, whereas I'm much more of a modern/cool jazz fan. If I would suggest that AS has any music on my (negligable) musical abilities, it would be the ability to compreh...

Oh...and how could I forget "Flaunt It" by TV Rock. This "song" has been a huge hit in Australia but is unknown anywhere else, it's just this kid from Melbourne trying to affect a "sleazy" rap in a not-quite-American-but-not-quite-Australian accent. For the most part he just sounds like Porky Pig wi...

Hell no, hombre, don't have a hernia or harp on harbouring huge, hostile haste in your head to get highly hysterical. Honestly, it just happens to be half a helping of healthy humour, as is my haphazard, hedonistic habit. Hopefully it helps keep this herd of humble human hermits hungering in our hea...

Rare, yes, but that probably has to do with the fact that very few people pick them up, manhandle them and do God knows what with them. Most of the time that people come to grief with stingrays it's just stepping on them when they're hiding in the sand, so they catch it the calf or ankle. But they w...
