Yeah, it's total BS. Attitude is a by-product of your circumstance and the genetic card hand that you're dealt. Of course, if you try to argue that with your average NT, you'll probably just get accused of "over-analyzing" things. :x Perhaps the "entitled" perception comes from stereotypes that (yo...

"Attitude" didn't come first - it didn't create all of the above - how could it??? Attitude comes after. If you're LUCKY enough to be born into the first group of people, then OF COURSE you're gonna have a positive attitude - why wouldn't you? True to some extent - but I also believe the converse i...

Have you been judged like this? Maybe when seeking disability benefits? WTH, right? Some people are born with the right genes, brains, personalities - they are just naturally relaxed, happy, extroverted, and... successful. Others of us are born with the opposite, and get the opposite result - NOT su...

Many people think there is a link between vaccines and autism, because they saw a drastic change in their child after he/she was vaccinated. Supposedly this has something to do with a mercury-based preservative called thimerosal in the US (or thiomersal in some other countries) which is/was found in...

The moral of "The boy who cried wolf" story is: If you're going to lie all the time, don't keep telling the same lie. The boy in that story is an idiot because he kept telling the exact same lie and expecting people to believe it. He should've thought of some different lies to tell people. I never ...

Well one thing is for sure, all top ranked politicians are liars. We had a General Election in the UK a couple of years ago and ALL election "promises" were promptly dropped as soon as the incoming bunch of liars took over from the outgoing bunch of liars. Precisely - same here in the US of course....

Yes, cats are cool - way better than dogs.

It's said that Aspies are somehow cat-like, whereas NT's are more dog-like. Seems right to me!

I would say sad. I broke down in the doctors last week, literally crying out, ''why am I the one who has to be like this?! Why me? I don't like being this way!!'' And it just makes me so sad that I desire for social interaction and friendships, yet at the same time I struggle with it and feel like ...

"Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will spend its whole life believing that it is stupid." - Einstein Awesome quote! I agree with many others here - how can you get scammed if you don't trust anyone? I can't even trust family and "friends" all that mu...

Some really interesting replies here. I've only had a few "friends" in my entire life, and I'm pretty sure they were not real friends. Friends don't reject/betray/abandon you, do they? If that's friendship, I want no part of it. That hurts WAY too much. Most of my life I've had no one, or else one "...

You know what occurred to me lately? Our whole culture is full of liars, from top to bottom. (The people at the top set the tone, so who can blame those at the bottom? It's like children subconsciously mimicking their parents). Lying is apparently such an integral part of the culture that most peopl...

I'm the OP, not nick007, but I really enjoyed this post and would like to respond to it and give my thoughts... Some are rich & successful because they are born into (it) but that is not an answer to the question "how does one get rich" (which implies making the money rather than inheriting it)....

@ outofplace - thanks for the reply.

I agree with you, and actually the investments that Michael Burry, Marc Faber and other really smart guys are recommending at the moment are gold and land - especially farmland.

I don't know about you guys - we're all different I guess. But I've just about had it with people. The rejection, betrayal and abandonment I've suffered all my life and especially the past few years has not just broken my heart, but nearly crushed it. I don't trust anyone anymore. I have no faith in...
