These things happen periodically. I remember years ago seeing a storefront boarded up evidence of a vehicle having crashed through the area. Thankfully I doubt anyone was badly hurt or killed in that since I didn't hear anything about it. It also happened to a cafe my brother was eating at, but than...

Pretty much anything train related.

Scale models.

Rocketry.

Aviation.

Trump, the younger of the two, claimed in the same breath that there's no such thing as global warming and that China is to blame for it. I prefer to look more deeply than a chap's chronological age when I try to assess how fit they might be to lead. There are also checks and balances on presidents...

Dr. Anthony Fauci is 81, almost 82….and he’s not exactly senile. Not even MAGA folks who despise him can deny that. Pelosi is an effective House Speake...

I am a bad sleeper and so often have days where I am pretty wiped out. Last night was a bad one. my question though is what impact this has on you? I find I kind of retreat into myself when I am exhausted like today, I sink back into my own brain and switch off the outside world a bit. its hard to ...

My friend Rick was on the train to Churchill, Manitoba, on Hudson's Bay when the engineer appeared in the passenger area at a station and asked if anyone wanted to ride up front. Rick jumped at the chance, and got to hear all about the route, and blow the whistle for road crossings (rare.) When the...

With the ingenious invention so that the trains can continue to drive, despite the fact that there are fire hoses on the track. https://i.imgur.com/1fTvnCN.jpg I'm assuming those ingenious invention...

Disabilities/differences wouldn't have the stigma/taboo as they do in this society. That includes using various aid to assist with whatever is needed, such as ear protection, stim toys, or whatever someone needs for whatever issues they have: mobility aids, personal hygiene products, service animals...
