I had intended to make a dedicated thread about "strawmen", but the intellectual/contextual soil here is very fertile... I am appalled at the degree of usage of the "strawman" in a contentious thread I inadvertently create, in which I refuse to post due to ethical and credibility...

NLP? Isn't that a pseudoscience? sort of. eventually, it's the idea that through rhetoric, you can make people believe things. only weaponized by new agers and self-help-addicts. When did bizzaroland manifest itself in this forum? Damn, I need a lot of catching up... Using the above, how ...

Though I am no fan of the Nazis myself, I do not think that the Allies were really all that much better. After all, look at the Soviet Union for example. Now, the Soviet Union, especially under Joseph Stalin, carried out many of the very same types of military atrocities and crimes against Humanity...

Christianity is inherently anti-Semitic. Of course, the Televangelists and their followers pretend not to be. But, don't be fooled! Could you clear something up for me? Does being an anti-semite mean you have to be against every Jewish individual in the universe? Do all Jews have the same philosoph...

It was an indirect cause of the Second World War. A more direct cause was allowing the Germans to militarize, and attempting to appease the Nazis. But had there not been the need to take back an extremely important economic region in the first place, the loss of which greatly crippled the economic ...

What an unpleasant comment. If you cannot emotionally deal with people holding different views to you then maybe Internet forums are not for you. Au contrare, monsieur... Forums are precisely the place to be if one wishes to engage in verbal fisticuffs... Far, far less likely to end up being skewer...
