oh. sucks. are there certain areas in Portland that are better than others? or towns not too far from it? in my experience, gresham seems to be about the most tolerant place around portland for autistics and perhaps that is exclusively attributed to all the work roger meyer has done over the years....

Whatever you do, do not move to Portland. Even though Portland is culturally diverse, many Portlanders I have come across enjoy treating marginalized groups, such as Aspies, like dirt. yep, all the hipsters and yuppies do marginalized folks with disabilities and such... whatever you do, if your aut...

This is taking "Keep Portland Weird" to a whole new level. Looting, under any circumstances, must be punished severely and immediately. I don't like Trump----but he was elected fair and square, and we have to adjust to it. Rioting isn't going to help one bit. We have to ensure a smooth tr...

I'm feelin pretty trapped and isolated in the portland, oregon area, don't have friends, just a "warden" for a girlfriend who granted, does more to help me than any other human in existence at this time but at the same time does way more to hinder me as well. She's a bit of a psycho and of...

If you can't or won't spay or neuter your pet, then you should not even be allowed to have one.:shameonyou: There are too many stray pets, many of them sick and suffering, and that is much more cruel and inhumane than a surgical procedure that will not make your pet fat and lazy. If anything they w...

Cats and dogs don't know that. With respect to reproduction and child rearing, they know two things. 1. They want to get it on...they don't know why. 2. The female wants to care for her offspring. She doesn't know why. They probably never even ponder the why. Here is an interesting observation. Whe...

How many of you were not diagnosed until you were older? Do you feel cheated out of life? I believe that knowing is better than not knowing, because it helps me understand myself and why most things in my life went so horribly wrong, but I also feel like I could have saved myself a lot of trouble i...

I'd vote to jail the police who have harmed and killed autistic people. I'd also vote to jail the people who threaten to phone the cops on autistic people. I had a manager of a store (who has been previously informed of my autism) tell me recently that I couldn't be in the store with my service dog...

Pardon me, I have been a Catholic my whole life and this current Pope needs to check himself. Most of the Bishops are against him and saying he is the antichrist. He is one of the reasons I have left the Church. Have you noticed that a lot of the Catholics are not supporting this Pope, but the Athe...
