I used to like to come in here and I got helpful information and I shared information that I learned but lately all I see are people talking about what types of medication to use. The trainers should be able to teach your dog to do that for your son. Here in France we get service dogs for free but there is a waiting list. We are going to see them in June. For the time being my daughter is very comfortable with my Bichon cross breed and he is well trained. We have started teth...

Some kids dont feel comfortable pooing (or peeing for that matter) at school or in a strange place. Its a very private thing and sometimes public or school bathrooms are not at all private. It could also be stress related, my daughter has never been completely potty trained but she would bring me he...

Does you child like to be physically comforted or does he get angrier if you touch him?
Most therapy dogs can be taught to snuggle with the child when he or she is having a meltdown or just to lie next to them and that comforts them. Depends on what you son would respond to the best.

Hes jealous....try spending some alone time with him but also explain to him that his sister is smaller than him, he is supposed to be her big brother and watch out for her, teach her and help her (this will make him feel more important) and she needs her privacy just like he needs his. If that does...

I was explaining the sarcasm which I found amusing. I personally think Its sad to tell your children that they can not die....wouldnt it be horrible if the parent or sibling died and the child was waiting for them to come back. I worked in the medical field for years and my husband is a Biologist an...

My son was Bi Polar from a young age and he had horrible meltdowns, I could not take him out when he was young and would have to hold him or sit on him when he got bigger.....he got to the point where he would scream at me to hold him or sit on him. He could not control himself, he had hypermania. h...
