Have SOMETHING in the morning. A protein bar or a protein shake or a hard-boiled egg. You'll be hungry again later in the morning, but you'll do more to lose weight by eating several small "snacks" throughout the day than trying to skip entire meals.

I love orgasms. I hate sex. It's not that sex is all that bad, but great sex is about being in tune with your partner...knowing what they want and if you're giving it to them. Both parties have to be tuned to each other or one side winds up doing all the work. My sensory issues with smell, touch, ta...

Maybe the clothes hides the contours of the muscles? This. Unless you have the ability to gain "mass," nothing short of wearing skin-tight garments will show off your body. Lots of guys work out and are very strong, but they get lean and ripped. You don't see what they achieve unless they...

To make healthy eating simple, eat simple. Find a very basic diet of healthy foods you don't mind eating and are very simple or no prep. I go to the gym several times a week. My "food" consists of protein bars, Muscle Milk and a simple dinner of a meat and veggies. On weekends, my breakfas...

Hard? No.

Do I have to make myself spend the extra few minutes to do it vs. going straight to bed after brushing? Yes.

As long as we have a growing problem with good-paying full-time jobs in America, the businesses will exploit it to their advantage.

Only when there is a true shortage in skilled labor do the workplace conditions come up on their own.

All I can say is this.... Parents with confident and capable kids (all things being equal) DID NOT shower them with UNMERITED praise. They let the kids take risks, sometimes succeeding and sometimes failing. They were supportive but didn't stroke their egos to make them feel good about themselves. T...

Is it common for people on the spectrum to, like... Have no future aspirations for where their life should go? I've never had a 'dream job' or felt a 'calling' or anything other than some desires to some day be a parent. Most of my wishes are just learning to cope and not have meltdowns/not shut do...

I have a form of Synesthesia. I can "see" sound as a visual representation...often in my peripheral vision. Even "see" is misleading. It's more like "perception." As if the sound registers as a visual stimulus. Sometimes I like a song just because of how it stimulates m...

I might the only WP member who liked Star Trek Into Darkness and this could easily be the best Star Trek movie in the reboot series, possibly better than The Search For Spock . It was an okay movie, but it was an abomination on every practical and scientific view one could imagine. It's as if the w...

Conscience and remorse I'm happy with. It's guilt that I'd like to lose. This is me too. I've been thinking about this a lot lately because I have "issues" I want to forget. As far as I'm concerned, I've "done my time" as far as being punished for any wrongdoing. The inability t...

Any global governance would mean global decisions meaning there would be millions/billions that disagree with whatever decision was made. You make the assumption that what is good for one nation is good for another when it's not, what's in our interests might not be in the global interest and if yo...

More than one way to see this. Back when I wanted to be a cop, at the academy we were taught about the "use of force continuum." In short, you escalated to the next level of force as the suspect escalated. The problem was the blatant sexism and political correctness of the profession (back...

What about the people who qualify as obese but they exercise regularly and don't over eat? I have serious trouble losing weight no matter what eat or how much I exercise and I'm 230 to 240 pounds. I get tested for PCOS and Cushing Syndrome next month because I have all of the symptoms and not just ...

In my mind, BULLYING is when someone deliberately sets forth to TORMENT a person or group with bad behavior. Offending someone is not bullying. Telling someone they are wrong (or expressing opinions to the same) is not bullying. Telling someone they are fat is not bullying (if it's true). However, i...

Honestly, the one great thing about B5 is that you can watch the whole series 2-3 times and pick up on things you didn't catch in earlier viewings.

The story was that "complex" or "deep" with details. Each episode was it's own story but told something of the larger story arc.
