I used to think about suicide all the time too. Still do sometimes. When it gets to about an 8 out of 10 on my scale of "I'm doing it at 10", I call a crisis number, and some cops pick me up and put me in a safe place, no restraints, all voluntary. Call 911, or your local emergency number, when it g... |

If I had a magic wand... Comfy mouse, all the mice the same, so there will be no favoritism for machines. I need a clackety keyboard all by myself (It helps me know when I've pressed the keys, because I type with my eyes shut sometimes.), but in a room, I need quiet, so.. have they made laser-projec... |

Kids do that sometimes, translation errors. Ever hear a kid try to translate the Star Spangled Banner? For the longest time, I thought "dawn's early light" was "donderly light" whatever donderly meant, I had no clue. The brain learns words, not by the words themselves, but their sequence in sentence... |

Democracy is a way to have a chance to govern the governors. It's a circle government. From the governors to the people to the governors again. Like my internet connection, fast download, and an upload half that speed, but there is still an upload. It's a legal upload. Other governments, it's usuall... |

Hypocritical to bash when one does not like being bashed.
Not all of the people are NTs out there. Consider them pre-diagnosed instead. Not everybody has their diagnosis tattooed on their forehead. |

In the past, before I realized it was AS, when I had a meltdown I would call a crisis hotline. Because intsead of stimming or screaming or whatever, I held it all in, and the energy converted into suicidal feelings. So from holding it in, I called help so they would pick me up. They would pick me up... |

Don't try starting a conversation or 20-questions with me.
Don't call the psych people to "handle" me -- I can do that myself. |

Yes it happens to me too. Here's why: If I look sad, and someone notices, and asks me "what's wrong?" I won't be able to verbalize what is wrong. Maybe 2 hours later I will have an answer, but not in time to make conversation. Also, people see a frown, and they say stupid one-liners, "smile!" "cheer... |

To play a role in a film? Can't find any other way where faking it is a benefit.
There is no real reason I can think of to fake autism in everyday life. It's too complicated to fake, and there are zero benefits from faking it.
It is not typical of any NT to fake it. |

I want to see the candidates play a game of Risk, televised. Or at least Monopoly or poker. Candidate-lympics. Tests for reading comprehension, IQ, ... other stuff. Cornball stuff, but if they can't do the cornball stuff, no way they can proceed to play with fire in the White House. |

I requested electroshock therapy once. Request denied. The doctor said that it causes brain damage, and should be used as a last resort. I was in the hospital for depression, and people that got electroshock in my ward, it sort of made them veggie-like for a while. Headache, memory loss, disorientat... |

Dang, how bad does it have to be to get bruises from falling out of a chair? That is a shorter distance to the ground than tripping while walking, and I can bet that if that child can walk, he has tripped plenty before. What if the child didn't have those labels? Would an non-anything kid's folks be... |

It seems to me you don't want to do what has been done before. So don't. Be your own person, and if you don't want university, don't do university. If you get to be 50 years old and want to do the university stuff, do it then. I think it is that you don't have any long-term goals, and they simply ar... |
