Yes and no. To women, but not to men. I wish I could pull of a visibly bi look, but I can’t, and I have EF problems so I wouldn’t be able to take care of piercings or short hair properly. I also know that looking conventionally attractive (the kind that attracts men) can get you far in the world by ...

Winters in Missouri can be long with temperatures ranging from mildly to bitterly cold. Kansas City's January daily mean temperature is 26 °F (−3 °C) and St. Louis's is 29 °F (−2 °C). The coldest temperature ever recorded in Missouri was −40 °F (−40 °C), set at Warsaw on 13 February 1905. Winter al...

No one ever teased me for wearing sweaters and of course I wear the same set of sweaters in all relevant seasons 8O Lol maybe it’s an American thing. Has to do with the bizarre attitude that liking cold weather and getting out in it, and not wearing too many winter clothes is a good thing. I have f...

Humans, for the most part, are not the ecological virus that many people say they are. Few of us willingly destroy Earth, as opposed to just living life under a system that does—but the ones who do are power-hungry, charismatic, and end up in charge. So we are not all viruses for the planet, but we ...

I’ve gotten teased about my love of sweaters, in a cute, nice way. They’re warm, they’re cozy, but the “cool” thing to do is to take your coat off and then what you wear underneath is the same is in spring or fall. I won’t be cool then. It gets cold indoors too! Any other sweater wearers? Has anyone...

P.S. it’s important to be the right kind of lazy IMO. Not sit-in-your-parents’ basement lazy, but homebody-who-still cares-about-issues and is lazy when it comes to making more and spending more, traveling, wars, etc. but votes diligently, reads, has hobbies, and is kind and has great self-control a...

Laziness is shunned upon. But In my opinion, lazy people are actually heroes, because they are too lazy to go to war, too lazy to travel etc. thus too lazy to carry a pandemic virus. If everybody were lazy, there would be no wars. Also, no climate crisis would exist either. Think about that, next t...

About once every few weeks I skip my morning meds because they make me sleepy and hungry. It’s not healthy to do that, I know. It’s just that I don’t like being sleepy and hungry!

Just a little rant lol.

Physical— *Reach new goal weight, but only for health—stay semi-body-positive* New goal weight is a weight that everyone will probably say is too low, but is healthy for me—they’re just not used to seeing me that way. Low end of normal BMI range. *Reduce sugar (especially added sugar) and convenienc...

Congratulations. Is that what we are meant to say? I am still waiting for my copy of the bi agenda.

“Congratulations“ is a great reaction! Thank you to everyone for being supportive.

When you don’t know what people in the real world will say.

It would be amazing if the world were safer for us.

So I’m coming out of the closet here. I’ve only come out to a few of my friends. People on WP tend to be more accepting than most, must be an Aspie thing.

For the record, I’m bisexual.

I like the Amy's meals too :) . I wish they were a bit cheaper. What sorts of things do you make with your blender and air fryer? Other things I do is try to make realistic weekly food plans when I go to the store. Buying things for lunch that take very little effort to make saves me a lot of frust...

Here are some tools I thought of using for executive-function-deficit-friendly cooking when I’m back on my own: 1. Worst-case scenario: readymade. Still better than eating out. Choosing healthier ones like Amy’s. 2. Air fryer. 3. Blender 4. Electric stove—I’m staying with my parents during the pande...
