If antisemitism is defined as dislike of Judaism and its adherents there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. The antisemitism I have a problem with is the one based on ethnicity. Ethnicity is not chosen and does not tell you anything about a person?s moral character, whereas ideology like religion...

I think the truther movement diminished with George W. Bush leaving office, the same way the birther crap will die when Obama's term ends. Neither movement can survive long without their political adversary and focus of hatred in office. Yes, just like the crying and whining from the left about the...

I hate being gullible. I've been tormented my entire life by having this impulse (not sure if that's the right word) to believe what people are saying. The other day at work, one of the guys had a shake cup filled with an off-white drink. I told him that it looks just like breast milk. I didn't thin...

What color is the rain in Dagobah? Seriously, I do like the rain when I'm indoors--I like the wind accompanying it as well. Clear, the color of rain is in Dagobah, hmmm. I agree with your last statement, and it looks like Ces is there with us. I don't really like wet clothes/shoes. Let me restate t...

There are very few things that upset me as much as bread being torn in the process of butter/pb spreading.

I have difficulty with unexpected phone calls, most times I won't answer, but I'll call back/reply the next day. I can not speak on the phone in front of someone else, I know I'm not communicating properly and I need all my focus for the phone call. I?ll often let the phone ring to VM just so I can...

Antidepressants never worked on me. I think I took every SSRI available. I haven't tried the new class of anti-depressants, but I'm skeptical of them due to prior negative results.

Today is a particularly rainy day, and I must say that I love them! Anyone else prefer the rain? I always seem to be a little happier when it rains. I love the sound of water splattering outside on various objects. I love the way the grey clouds distort the light to make things calmer and cause cert...

It happens to me a lot; especially if I have to think really fast of a certain word. There are some words that just give me a brutal time saying--even slow. For instance, even though I'm prone to do this frequently, never ask me to say soliloquy out loud. Yes it happens to me too. I also forget word...

Do you ever feel that Christianity was the biggest tragedy to fall upon Europe? Imo: 1- The Black Plague. 2- Christianity. Worse than Nazi Germany and Stalinist Russia? Ironically, without the "big bad evil" of Stalin's Russia, there's absolutely no way that the Allies defeat Nazi Germany in WWII.

It's very common for Aspies to mistake "friendliness" with friendship. I know I've really struggled with that my entire life and thought I'd had friends when they were just being friendly. Unfortunately, I think many people feign friendliness as a defense mechanism so as not to hurt other people's f...

I feel like I don't really have a family and like I'm not really a part of my own family. I feel like a complete outsider in my family. I neither fit in with them nor do they treat me like a part of the family. My family (as in parents and siblings) don't talk to me much or spend time with me or te...
