I cannot be angry with a deity that doesn't exist. I may as well be angry with Zeus, Odin, sprites, and banshees. I don't profess any "faith" or religion.

I voted for President Obama twice. I am generally satisfied with him. He is intelligent, articulate and honest. I may add that I voted for President Bush both times. I don't identify as either conservative or liberal. I do my own thinking and am not swayed by the opinions of others. I always remembe...

I was 46 when I was formally diagnosed. I am now 49. As a child I knew that I was different from the other children, but I didn't know why. I knew that I was either ignored or bullied. I usually could only handle having one friend at a time. In high school I probably had the emotional maturity of a ...

We also had the cold weather BDUs all year. I went to basic training at Ft. Bliss, Texas. Summer. Desert. After wearing those BDUs in 100+ degree heat, I could stand anything.

There are pullup bars that fit in doorways. You may want to explore this option. I have seen at Walmart all sorts of workout equipment that you can use at home. Due to the cost of gym memberships, many people like to excercise at home. Do you have one of those running trails nearby that has the work...

I completely suck at throwing a ball. Catching a ball is just as bad. I have to tell people constantly not to toss things to me such as keys. I was always chosen last for ball games.

Yes, all the time. I not only memorize what is in the kitchen, but I memorize grocery stores. I have 4 Walmarts memorized. I hate going to an unfamiliar store because I can't "see" the things I want. I am very distracted by other shoppers because in my visual world they don't belong there. It's sill...

I wore BDUs in the Army for a number of years. I liked them because they were loose and comfortable. I hated the black boots. I especially hated the black berets the Army forced upon us. In summer it was like wearing a wet poodle on your head. I liked that I didn't have to ever decide what to wear. ...

I meant to say that I become anxious and upset when my mind is not active and engaged, which is seldom.
I suppose at my age I have become used to the multiple thoughts racing through my mind. +

Does anyone here entertain several thoughts simultaneously? I have described my mind to others as a 6-burner stove with all the burners engaged. (I refer to NTs as "others") They don't get it. I thought everyone did this until I started asking people about their thought processes. I was stunned. The...

I have been married 25 years. Got married when I was 24. I have 4 children ages 23, 22,20, and 17. It wasn't easy at all. My children seemed to tolerate my quirks and my tendency to withdraw when the stimuli was too much for me.

The Japanese have a word for foreigners: gaijin. I was an exchange student to Japan in 1982. I frequently received comments about my appearance. Why do your eyes look like that? Why is your nose so big? Do you bathe everyday? They always wanted to touch my hair. That really freaked me out. I wouldn'...

This winter has been brutal here in Hoosierland. I don't wish it upon anyone. We have had polar temperatures, constant snow and ice, and now a propane shortage. Our propane supplier is limiting its customers to only 150 gallons of propane and will only fill a tank when it reaches 15% capacity. India...

1. The insistance on eye contact. 2. Using the phrase "just saying". 3. Always assigning ulterior motives to what I say or ask. When I make a statement or ask a question, it's devoid of any motives. 4. The constant use of sarcasm. This is very frustrating. 5. Always touching. I only allow family to ...
