| Technically ASDs can co-exist with any other disorder/medical condition (it's called co-morbidity) some secondary conditions are pretty common and others pretty rare, the disorder can also accure alone. |

| Asperger's Syndrome, like other Autism Spectrom disorders, is marked by a triad of imparments in Social, Communication and Behavioral areas. You have to have a certain amount of symptoms from each group not just one symptom form one section. |

| No, the name Asperger's Syndrome should not be changed to High Functioning Autism because these are infact two seperate conditions with opposites sides of the braian being largely affected. In Autism (high functioning included) the person tends to have a strong right hemisphere and a weak left hemi... |
