I think this is what you mean. Many times I feel like a passenger in my own body. Disconnected and just sorta alone.

Man, that is dead on. I run into this when I try to speak sometimes. Just a crush of things jamming. I was telling my Asperger's therapist that today. Wish I had this phrase. It's perfect. :D

@the OP: I'm with you there. I'm 56. I have lived on my own for 39 years. I am going through a divorce, the VA is giving me the s**ts every time I turn around, employment is all messed up. And, it ain't no easier. Right now, I am in the middle of changes like you. If you find a way to deal with it, ...

have not met anybody remotely like myself. wish that it was not so. To be honest, if I met myself (and did not know it), I'm not so sure I would like me. Why? Well, we'd both be opinionated, blunt, both of us would have incoming and outgoing communications issues. Sooooo, not so sure I want to meet...

I don't find this to be scripting. Scripting is when you say something on certain occasions, and there's no variation in what you say, and it occurs on a consistent basis, without much forethought from the person doing the scripting. Sounds like my basic meet n' greet. I'm good for about 10 minutes...

I've been dealing with this for the last 3 weeks. I finished a lot of things that had to be done and then just collapsed. But, now I am stuck worse than before. I've re-isolated. I won't go out unless it's an emergency. And, I am having trouble just making appointments with the VA let alone some oth...

I have no answer to C2V's issues. But I do have a thought. I try to follow social protocol. And, in lulls in conversations, I am learning that those are topics to use to engage a person. You would so hate to be around me because I would make you so uncomfortable with just trying to follow my social ...

I'm gonna go with Star Trekker on this one: Alien. When I was a kid, I wanted to be Cap'n Kirk. Who didn't? (this was the first run and it came on TV when I was 5-8 But when I started watching the reruns a bit older, I realized I was more like Spock and he was the cool daddy of them all. Eventually ...

For instance, there were times when I was coding. I would continue to type the code properly, but the brain w...

For those who want a high with the anti-anxiety med part, go with something with a decent THC count. But, if you are not interested in the high, go with High CBD and CBN strains. Also, depending on how you cook it, you can burn off the THC and keep the high CBD. The same strain will not have the sam...
