One cut, one bruise, and I walked away.

Have tried, want to do it again. I wasn't on a high enough dose to really send me for a loop, but the walls were breathing. Everything just... expanded and contracted in this really comforting rhythm. I was happy the whole time too, just absolutely overjoyed with a huge perma-smile on my face (in fa...

So overboring is done with a drill, or something similar to a drill, by a mechanic. Much better  in my head I imagined one of you guys using a file to make the interior part of the cylinders bigger, all of them, while making sure they remained perfectly circular and I figured there was somethi...

Yea the plans for the vette are sending the heads to be built up, big borderline not treatable cam, headers and tune for it all. For my car I want to save the money to do a 3L stroker. Its apparently a very easy job consisting of just pulling the crankcase, rods and pistons out and replacing with o...

Its like a giant drill that you put an engine into. Obviously a bit more complex than that. I have to admit though, big blocks don't really do it for me, I prefer screamers. Especially in power delivery. To each their own. I like the bottomless, idle-to-redline thrust you can't get from a smaller m...

First I was: 900? But that's nothing! Then I noticed the "each" 7200 sure sounds like a lot! My father's SUV has only 2200, I was wondering whether it was too little for one but apparently it has a turbocharger too, and it accelerates fast when normal driving and is gas-efficient  Btw, h...

I wonder how the motor of my father's car is. How many cc do your motor's cilinders have? That's the one thing I can understand well

Eight cylinders, 900cc each for a total of 7.2 liters.

That's uncorrected for the .040 inch overbore though.

I am still thinking of abacacus car, I may not get the specifics but "small car, big motor" sounds intersting~

Small car by the standards of the day, anyway. What was once midsize is now full size. It's about the size of a new Cadillac (and almost as nice inside).

Are you going to get it from him then? Oh hell yes. Picking up the car it's going to go in on Friday. edit: And my parents are... less than enthusiastic about this. My father is certain it'll kill me, and my mother is certain that she can overrule my decision of what to do with [oi]my[/i] money and...

Not my thing. I'll smoke a little at home, or at a friends house, but not if I intend to drive for the rest of that day. I just feel that it increases my reaction time, which I have no desire to do.

Holy jumping whatever-the-hell-jumps-first. A friend of mine just dropped on me that his massively powerful 440 needs a home. AGUH. That thing is a monster of a motor. It would make a full-size one-ton truck haul ass... and I'm looking at putting it in something substantially smaller and lighter. ed...

In my opinion there's no point debating this issue with people who like porn, as the very fact that a person likes watching porn indicates a course, insensitive attitude to life in general, hence you are not going to relate to the nuances of the argument or care about what happens to the people inv...
