Such a classic routine, it never gets any less funny, or less relevant. Since the rise of Dave Chapelle, a lot of people seem to have forgotten Chris Rock, who in my mind is far funnier, and much more intelligent. His later routines where still funny, but Bring the Pain is still his magnum opus.

How important is owning a firearm in protecting your country from foreign or domestic enemies of the government? not sure I'm exactly following you, but I'll take a shot. Foreign invaders are pretty unlikely on US soil at this point, so I'm not too worried about them. If at some future time the US ...

The uglier thing I've heard about how some police view the world, is that their are two kinds of people, other cops and suspects. "Civilians" is actually usually used to refer to non-criminal victims of crime, and is somewhat synonymous with "taxpayers" in the police lexicon. Both tend to be more of...

I don't think so. I think it's a fair question. Why would he feel remorse? He did what he had to to get himself out of a bad situation. Someone invaded his home, and placed his life in danger. Doesn't sound like Subalternnavert had a whole lot of choice, get stabbed or pull the trigger. I'm sure he...

I hope you make some money; sounds cool to design weapons. Do you know chemistry/physics? My education is fairly basic in the classic sense, the degree I hold is actually in gunsmithing (not the kind you get mail order, an actual 2 year degree). That sorta means I'm long on the actual means of cons...

Heh, I got a couple of designs in my workshop for neo-flamethrowers, I think they are ripe for a reinvention. My most promising design isn't actually a flamethrower per se, but is more of an pneumatic incendiary bolt projector. That particular design is kind of low on my priorities list at them mome...

Have it be known, I rarely back down from a challenge to a debate - but I really am sick of debating, especially on sites such as this where the moderators defend the opposing side and silence my side. It gets nowhere and I don't want to argue, so don't push buttons with inflammatory statements. I ...

Its nice to people agreeing on here, I even agree with dox47, I wonder how long the ass kicking lineup is going to be. So the unifying issue on WP is hatred of Fred Phelps? I can live with that, the man is a disgrace to his religion, and to humanity in general. It's bad enough to hate because of yo...

During an interview with the Secret Service, Geisel denied threatening Obama, but told agents that "if he wanted to kill Senator Obama he would simply shoot him with a sniper rifle." He later said that comment was a joke, the agent said in the document who needs a snitch when he rats himself out? M...

Because it can be fun to mess with people.... or maybe he *really* is a racist and only has a black girlfriend as something to hark back to the days before the civil war when white guys freely had sex with black women all of the time in coercive relationships. Btw, Dox, were you abusive to women at...

Well, I think the issue I was trying to bring up is where we have bigotry, and where we have a legitimate dismissal of a line of thought. Keep in mind, legitimately dismissing something does not mean that something should objectively be dismissed, but rather a sign that a subject can legitimately h...

I'm most familiar with the video game fanboy subspecies myself, from my days as a clerk at EB Games and GameCrazy. The worst ones where without a doubt the Sony fanboys, who in spite of easily verifiable evidence to the contrary would insist that the Playstation or Playstation2 was the greatest syst...

If you read the full article, it all actually sounds pretty vague, I'm surprised that they are taking it so seriously unless there is some other piece of evidence that they are withholding. Nothing that the guy had was all that out of the ordinary, especially for someone seeking employment as a bond...

I still find it confusing that owning a gun can be a right but not having a driver licence. If they made up a list of rights today, they might have added in a few other items. As originally conceived, the 2nd Amendment was the final guarantor of the constitution, with an armed society able to fight...
