Church is a place to communally worship God. It's not necessary to go to church in order to "prove" your belief in and your desire to worship God. I am glad you put that as some have said that if you don't attend church you are not a Christian. Well, people who think that have become reli... |

It is hard to describe. It feels like a mix between claustrophobic (But not actually claustrophobia) and lonliness. I get it now and then when I listen to a bit of music. It is like being trapped in time somehow.
Describing feelings is never easy. |

It keeps saying I must update youtube, which puts me to google play where I would need to sign up to google to get it. Not sure how to bypass it yet to see them. Did anyone ... |

I was brought up almost not to like music. I mean... My dad wasn't into music as he was a little tone deaf. I did play the violin in my youth but gave it up after about 6 years as I would have had to take exams and everything was geared towards classical music which I didn't like. Neither did I want... |

Those who like me have joined to find answers and were later assessed. When you had the results, were they what you expected them to be or was it very unexpected? What was the test like? |

I am on the list to be checked. It took me two years to pluck up the courage to ask my doctor (Mind blank each time I tried) and doctor said not to get my hopes up as it was up to the referral team if they accepted me. They did. Is about a 14 month wait now here as we have had a new unit open up as ... |

Totally understand that.
Mind you, when I was in college I had such a difficult time that I just wasn't that interested in the work or the exams. I mean... I was and I wasn't. I failed the exams passing only half of it and walked away not wanting to go back. |

Yes. Mind blank situations. I have recently started taking my Mum with me as when I see a doctor or something like that and I am nurvous, I come out not remembering much and not able to open up to say what I went in for. Also waiting rooms are stressful. I don't mean there is anything wrong with the... |

I’m much different on here than I am in person. It is my firm belief that these forums are the best communication method for me and autistics in general: -No social anxieties. -Don't have to worry about body-language, etc. -No information overload. -At home in a secure environment. -We can take our... |

I think it is good to step back and ask questions because one can understand things. I think if I had done this in the past my life would be different now. Having said that, I would not want to change my past though many parts of it I would never want to go through again. I mean. School and especial... |

I have been called so many things by so many people that to remember a single on would be difficult. Some were understandable as to try to fit in so II feel safe to talk I somehow put on an act. I have found that humour covers many an awkward situation and the easiest way I've found to do this (And ... |
