I am definitely a slob. My room hasn't been fully cleaned and tidy since I moved in. It's been vacuumed and even steam cleaned but I simply crammed all my stuff onto shelving or into containers which I took out of the room. I will be moving in a couple of weeks so I'm going to use packing as an excu...

I've been failing third (final undergraduate) year university level math. It's really embarrassing as I've always been really good at it at high school and above average in first and second year. I'm doing it as a second major (Chemistry is my first and I've never had problems with it). While I'm ab...

Procrastination is my worst enemy at the moment. I am probably going to have to start a new course a semester early as I probably won't be able to finish my current one this semester. I'm on break at the moment and my room is a dump, I've been late for my work shifts (only a minute) so I might not h...

The first regression I had from memory was when I was 8 and we moved from overseas. I was learning a second language at my previous school and when I came to Australia, my ability to speak that language almost disappeared overnight. At the time, my ability to speak and read in the language was as go...

All but one of my relationships were with a guy that was in my circle of friends and acquaintances. The only time I did go out with someone who was outside of that, a relative stranger so to speak, I ended up in an abusive situation. He didn't abuse me, but he stood by and let his family members phy...

I listen to a lot of metal, which tends to keep me happy and as focused as I can be. If I'm really depressed I will turn to my favorite genre - Melodic Death Metal. The dark atmosphere aligns perfectly with my mood and then I listen to all the bright melodies threaded through the music and I find I ...

 Forum: General Autism Discussion   Topic: How would you describe your thoughts during a meltdown?

I would describe mine as pure emotion, for the most part raw anger. I don't really think that much during my meltdowns, except for forming verbal attacks. My meltdowns tend to be violent and aggressive. I always just thought I was naturally an angry, violent person.

I was 14, almost 15. I was peer pressured into going to the formal and some guy decided to dance with me - despite my two left feet. Eventually there was a slow song and we made out. Afterwards we went out on one date but we didn't click in anyway. A few months later I started going out with my firs...

My ideal partner:
* adores animals
* nerdy
* a metalhead
* assertive
* independent/self-sufficient
* not unattractive to me (I'm in no way picky when it comes to appearance)
* funny
* smart
* good in bed/willing to learn

As a female I think both genders should be equally involved in asking out potential partners. However, my last relationship where I was the one asking them out (as opposed to one of those situations where you flirt with each other a lot and then somehow end up dating) turned into a rather traumatizi...

I say go for it. I was in a relationship with a close friend last year. It wasn't successful, so now we're back to being close friends again. While it is possible you two may end up in a relationship, have it end badly and then not be able to stay friends afterwards, it isn't always the case. If you...

I was in my head a lot as a kid. It was awesome. I thought about numbers and stories and retreated from the harsh, cruel, screwed-up world. I have school reports from primary school mentioning my "tendency to daydream". Even now I can immerse myself in my mind, sometimes I spend hours and not realiz...

I'm 21, studying science full time, work in retail, run a university club, also a massive trekkie and metalhead. I'm not on wrong planet 24/7 but I tend to access it once in a while.

Thanks for the suggestion but my University tends to be really strict about grading procedures.
