Its late at night and its not safe to walk home, so I took a taxi. I dont normally do this. Anyway when I got to the destination the meter read something like 4.80. Then when we stopped it said 6.20. Not sure what happened there. Is this normal? Didnt say anything cos erm im a bit of an idiot.

Managed to wire up my turntable this morning. Forgotten how good it sounds!

Was listening to Bob Dylan and it really sounds alive on vinyl. I have just ordered Neil Young's Harvest.

A question. If I want to give a disc a quick wipe before listening, whats the best way to do it?

The Megadrive as that is what I grew up with. Holds many fond memories.

L'arc en Ciel are my fav.

I've seen the above, Miyavi, Gazette, Dir en Grey live. L'arc was just unreal live, best concert I have ever been to.

Whats the actual definition of eccentric? I've always thought of myself as eccentric but no one has ever called me that.

Thanks for the info! That was most useful. No idea how it got that flaw. I remember listening to it one day and then heard it and thought WTF? Then my dad just said, oh its always been like that. He wasn't a big music fan, so i guess he never looked after stuff like this. Even if he only had 1 or 2 ...

I agree with what you are saying, practice does make perfect and a lot of talented artists out there who dont know music theory.

But was just wondering, are you are fan of classical music?
