I agree money can't fix autism, but it can help by having a therapy sessions that you need every week or simply getting the medication you need to help you out with it all. Money can help, not fix.

... It's mainly a bad spatial ability thing. :| I have the opposite. Other than being a wanderer and would rather have the skill to afford wandering off on my own, I can also track certain places with less clues that most people would have trouble getting into. I could be almost just as bad if I mi...

I like to cook every once in awhile, but for some reason I get easily overwhelmed by all the tasks I have to do. I decide to not do it because it's so overwhelming to where i'm on edge of tears or yelling at someone in my family when they correct me. :(

I wish my parents knew how much they are hurting me. Always telling me i'm doing this wrong or this not right. "You're making a bad decision" "Why did you do that?!" Also invading my privacy by opening my packages and looking through my stuff in my room!! I'm 20 years old and wan...

Well, apparently I am really good at hiding it, but my Mom did tell me when I was younger that you could obviously tell that I do have autism

My personality hasn't changed much over the years but my behavior has. I think it just depends on how the person reflects on this topic. Our brains are most likely constantly rewiring throughout the years too, Behavior And personality way.

^ Some very valid points. I liked the take-away However, there is one important skill missing from this list: empathy. I wish everyone had more empathy. It’s easy to say that a person doesn’t have something like work ethic — and that they should, because “it takes no talent” — but taking the time t...

I don't have an answer to your question about accommodations, but I just wanted to observe that a trampoline park seems like it could be a pretty stressful place for someone with autism to work. Noisy, lots of social communication, chaotic... good luck with your experience there but if it doesn't w...

That's kind of what happened to me Yesterday with my Mom, I was having a bit of a meltdown and called her. She told me to suck it up mostly. It's not helpful at all, like the way to approach people who are having this situation is to guide them and calm them down instead of saying what isn't helpful...

Hey everyone, I recently got a job at a Trampoline Park and the first shift (Yesterday) didn't go to well. Before I go into further detail I did not let them know that I have autism till after the situation occurred. So I was making sure kids were going one at a time on this one activity for the fir...

Actually, spending the future together could mean a lot of things. It's not necessarily living in the same appartment in a typical relationship. It can mean anything from just being close daily to always being together. It's up to those involved to decide and agree on.

You make a good point there!

I think love is defined on what you think it is. In my definition it is when people have a love for your personality and lifestyle. Maybe it’s similar than there’s or just interesting to them.
I do want to say that love is something that people are wanting long term relationship.

I was a bit babyish when I was a teen. It was probably because I wasn’t in helpful medication though. It was hard for me to make friends because of it.
