No. Isn't being 'hyperfocused on what other people think of you" the normal behaviour though?

Fortunately I don't live in a nation with an almost pathological love affair with guns. It is weird and creepy in equal measure. The tortuous self justification for this fetish, and the palpable sense of panic that sets in at the very idea their toys could be taken away would be amusing if the whol...

Human beings of any kind and firearms do not mix. People want them because they make them feel powerful. It's an infantile, needy emotional crutch. Thinking about the whole thing makes me feel depressed; it's indicative of all that is wrong with humanity. A 60 year old 5'2" 110 lb. woman Awakens to...

I live in London but hardly ever even meet up with my friends as it is, so the idea of meeting up with a bunch of strangers...err...no, not going to happen.

No, just the stuff I'm interested in. Even if that weren't the case, the details of "everything" presents quite a challenge for anyone, don't you think?

Let me gaze into my crystal ball a moment...

Wait for it...

Wait...

Ah, here it is. I confidently predict a cure in the year 36,222 AD. That's it move along people, nothing else to see here.

Thanks for the reply. I already suspected this to be the case. IMHO it is an unfortunate consequence of copyright law. It is hard to see how a follow up work can damage the original author financially or alter the quality of the original story. But the rules are the rules. For all sorts of reason it...

I'm in in the process of writing a novel which is a sequel of sorts to another work by another author. The previous work was published over 20 years ago and itself borrowed heavily from a couple of other stories from around the turn of the last century. My story contains a few characters and locatio...

I haven't done any in over 20 years, but had painted hundreds of them (mostly Citadel fantasy miniatures) back in the day and I don't think I did too bad a job. I can't remember many of the techniques off the top of my head, and everyone has their own method that works for them. My self I would: 1. ...

I never did that in bathing per say Per se. Sorry it's not your fault that I keep seeing this mistake recently and for some reason it drives me up the wall  It has reached the point where I had to point it out to someone. But back on topic, I've also occasionally forgotten to wash whilst in t...

And she didnt invent the idea that women resent other women for being attractive. So there must be something to that notion. I don't think anybody disputes that that can and does happen but SB explains every bad or negative experience with other women in this manner. Her reasoning allows for no oth...

Like others I have difficulty working out what they are. What I do have is probably a fairly limited range: Anger, anxiety, fear, love and contentment/satisfaction. Not sure if I've ever felt happy.
