FBAS (Facebook Autism Syndrome) My first questions: 1. What's the difference between the news feed and the live feed? 2. Is it just me or do other Autistics too find Facebook the ultimate hell for us? Such a big maze, it's rare that I'm completely overwhelmed by a website, but FB is more than I can take. I don't understand a thing about how it works, and I understand their explanations even less. The ambiguous titles,... |

Not all lifestyles are interesting, though. Eg: being an old spinster who takes care of her old and sick parents and watches TV the rest of the time is a lifestyle too. |

We all have a lifestyle. I used to think I didn't have one either, but then I learned to recognise it. The fact that my current lifestyle is shared by no one I know doesn't make it less of a lifestyle. Sharing one's lifestyle with someone is one of the most joyous things in life. What makes people connect intensely is not simply common interests but going through the same phase in life or having similar lives / lifestyles. I have a similar problem. I find that everyone ignores me by email or FB or whatever, unless they have a very specific need from me. |

Usually these things take 10 minutes at the most. Lighting a candle, blessing, singing a short song, that's it. But I'm sure they didn't finish it in 4 minutes and then left the candles burning... |
