No one would dare joke or hold the gathering away from the candle-holder here in Israel, so I don't think it's any of the above... |

Yes, that's exactly what happened. But I also realize that there were other courses of action possible. My sister, for example, never argues. She pays anything, however unfair. So everyone adores her, because she's not "difficult" or a "troublemaker", and never has stories like this one and she's al... |

I pass through the lobby of my apt building at 7:45 pm, and I see a lovely candle-holder in the center, candles lit up, and a sign saying: "Dear Neighbors: We're all meeting in the lobby at 7:55 pm every day for Hanukka candle lighting. For more info, meet us at Facebook, "The (Street) (Number) Grou... |

No, I'm not asking what the logic is behind it. That's clear. What I'm asking is how you would've "gotten them" to write you receipt, when you couldn't even get them to listen to you or talk to you because they kept saying "it's not my problem, go away". |

Well, they weren't even agreeing to listen or talk to me, so asking for a receipt would've been met by laughter from them. And writing later on would've been met with the same ignoring, only much more, because when I'm not there to make a fuss, it's much easier to just ignore me. The best you can do... |

LOL that's such a good idea!! Now that I've calmed down about it, I think most people would've just taken the car, gone through the exit, and when stopped, they would've told the guy the story and if he didn't get approval from the manager to let them pass, they would've just paid the extra money (a... |

Of course, first thing I did was push the "help" button, for a long time, but no one answered. And as I said, there was no tel number on the machine.
Sue, I mean how would you have gotten them to give you a receipt?. |

And here I was thinking that these things happened only in the Middle East... I'm surprised about Holland! Yes, blocking is a good idea, but I wanted my change back too and here security and the police don't allow you to block for money theft. You have to pay / leave without the money and later sue ... |

That's what I did, indeed. I threatened to call the police and told the parking lot manager that I was sueing him in court. I told them that even if they let me leave now, I wouldn't move without my change and I wouldn't pay the extra money for the 40 minutes parking caused by them. The parking mana... |

Janissy, that's the course of action I decided to take, indeed. I tried to physically be at the places where my loudness would cause the most damage for both parties - namely with their customers and colleagues.
However, after 40 minutes of this, it had not helped, hence my questions... |

When I was leaving the mall and paying at the machine before going down to my car in the parking lot, the machine ate my card, didn't give me back any receipt or change, nor my money or the card. I went to the parking management, who said it was someone else's fault and not theirs. The someone else ... |

That's exactly the problem - that the one meant to be the NT does not look like one, and the one meant to be the Aspie comes out much less inappropriate than her. This is a very serious issue, because this video is used to educate the population. Turns out the ones making the video and doing the edu... |

Israel got first place in sexual liberalism (even above Sweden) in the latest world statistics. In Tel Aviv, where it's always warm, we have gays making love in public parks, with little children and their dogs playing closely around them and their parents smiling sweetly. Attire is very light due t... |
