Can a man with no mind be infected by a mind-virus? :chin: Oh, he has a mind as much as we do. And one that also is as different from an NT as many of us. It's just off on a different, yet to be named spectrum. I also saw Trump's "increase in chronic illnesses" as a vax-causes-autism dog-...

I believe I have it. I have long known I have this type of problem with cold that most people don't have. I never thought to ask a doctor about it. I suppose I should now that I know the condition has a name. Not in the diagnostic criteria? There's a pile of comorbidities that are not part of the di...

I recently learned about the Flynn Effect. From Flynn effect : The Flynn effect is the substantial and long-sustained increase in both fluid and crystallized intelligence test scores that were measured in many parts of the world over the 20th century. I think there is a good argument that societal c...

“We found that there was a steeper rise over time among children with autism without intellectual disability,” Dr. Shenouda says. “While estimates increased two-fold for autism with intellectual disability, estimates increased five-fold for autism without intellectual disability between 2000 and 20...

It is difficult to believe you were bullied for only being clumsy. ASD is a developmental disorder and your childhood problems are more telling than adult problems. There should have been signs then. Your success as an adult is not that relevant, as many famous autistics have demonstrated.

The orange one. The interviewer is also full of horse s**t. Bunch of cray cray statements. Funny/sad that he still refuses to learn how tariffs work.. he thinks he taxed Billions from China in tariffs and still has no clue that he forced American importers to pay that money. Never mind every other ...

ND advocates are against a cure for autism, its central to their belief. I can understand why you feel this way. However, the truth is the understanding of autism by ND advocates and many professionals in the field is that autism is a neurologic difference that is not going to be "cured" ...

At a meeting of autistic adults I attended, this subject came up. And then, the Special Olympics website left me confused as to the eligibility for autistic athletes. I asked them to fix their website. I just looked now to see what they came up with and although it is still vague, this is the eligib...
