I never attended assemblies if I could help it. By my Senior year of high school, I managed to escape from all but 2 of them without any problem. I had an aversion to being in large groups of people. I never stuck around to see anything like a drill team from the ROTC or from the military.

If I ever get back into Half-Life 1 through Steam, I have to have Scientist Hunt. One of the more rediculous mods for Half-Life. First to kill 150 scientists win.

I have a kindle I got as a hand me down from a family member. It's a 1st gen. It's ok. But I don't like the user interface. If my hand spasms and presses the next page button or the menu button, sometimes I can skip 2 or more pages or end up out of the book depending on how I hold when I'm trying to...

This sounds interesting, but I don't know how useful this would be. I'm taking a break from pencil & paper rpg right now because it's the only place I'm having meltdowns. I struggled with the in game aspect of socialization. It's one thing to socialize with the fellow gamers, but it's another th...

If I lived near you, I'd buy them from you in cash at spot price rounded up to the nearest whole dollar. I don't know a recommended place to sell them at.

If you do sell them, you should get at least the current spot price.

I'd recommend checking out The Devil's Dictionary by Ambrose Bierce It's free on the internet, but I bought a hardcopy of it at one point. It's more funny than extravagant, but the definitions used are spot on. There is also the Tough Guide to Fantasyland by Diana Wynne Jones . She's the writer of H...

I have sleep apnea and require the use of a cpap. I hate using my cpap. When I don't, I end up in a situation where I sleep in the evening for 1-3 hours. Then I'm up late even if I want to sleep. Also over the last five weeks, I've had two days where I've gotten more than 6 hours of continuous sleep...

I'm with Squid on this.

Did you mean Homosexual instead of Homophobic? Are you saying you are attracted to the same physical sex as your body is? Or are you saying that you don't like same-sex attraction?

This is how I got my aspergers diagnosis. I was with my psychologist, and she was telling me what I could do with my art, and how to get it out into the world and possibly turn a buck. After bringing up reservations I had based on my executive function and social anxiety issues, she put two and two ...

It was coincidental that his surname happened to match two other mad scientists. I'd roll with it. For Klaus, the Krieger family name could have a long and proud history with science and one of the driving motivations would be to keep it going. ?My mom's a mad scientist. It's a lot like being a reg...

I agree with America being broke. If I was making what I am making now, but when I first entered the work force, I could easily have covered my own SRS out of pocket, and also covered for a dozen others over time. But now in 2014. I may be able to afford SRS for myself in a year, maybe two years if ...
