a low-cost solution for the 'wrong' gender are made for cables, they're actually called 'gender benders'. They're just sorta adapters.

I was gonna say any Radio Shack would have what you needed, but you're already fixed...

I knew something like that had to exist! I like the switch idea though, as it will consolidate everything for me when I go to get more devices to connect to it.

Here's the adapter I was talking about. The audio is still RCA, but it comes with an adapter (headphone like)

That would have been my fallback adapter if I couldn't find anything else, not too worried about audio, as I have a surround sound system I will be hooking up at the same time, and just routing everything through it.
