What is your favorite real robot?
Real as defined as:
1. Physical construction, not simulated, ai software, ect but an actual physical pressence
2. Actuation, able to move, itself or manipulate aspects of its environment
3. Self controled as in , based on information from sensors, sent to a control system outputs are sent to actuators(no telepresence, radio controled)

...

If you look to the left, you will see my robot. Your "definition" includes all biologic entities.

So far as a "mech" is concerned, as you do not seem to be able to define the term, how would you know it does not conform to your definition of a robot?

The two OED definitions of "mech" may not be what you want:
  1. colloq. Chiefly Mil. (esp. Air Force). = mechanic
  2. Cycling colloq. (chiefly Brit.). = A derailleur gear mechanism on a bicycle.
The former would fit your definition of a robot, but the later might not.

Well a mech is a "kind" of robot that one pilot can enter inside. Like those that appeared in Alien when they carry crates or those that appeared in Avatar or in Matrix Revolutions.

Ah. So you are saying that a mech is not autonomous whereas a robot is. Got it.

A mech is not autonomous and a robot is. Therefore a mech is NOT a kind of robot since it lacks one of the essential characteristics of a robot, to wit, autonomy.
What you said is equivalent or similar to saying a dog is a kind of cat except it does not purr and go meow.
