I don't have flash on my other cellphone, a SonyErickson, so why the iPod bashing?

I don't get it. When I open a HTML5 video player and look at my system resources it looks about the same as flash. I was expecting it to be less system resource intensive.

TBF HTML5 has only been in development for a few years when Flash (with video) has been available since 2002 I think. Until 2015 it is still a work in progress and no one knows for sure what the video codec will finally be, among many other things. From what I gather there is no marked performance increase on the Linux and Windows platforms, but it is supposed to be ace on Mac.

I believe there was a link on it on slashdot, but unfortunately me being a new member cannot paste it here :(
