OS/2! It was ahead of its time. It was stable and could multitask DOS (either full screen or in a window) and Windows 3.x applications (including graphic and sound intensive games) long before Windows 95 could. And this was on a 486/50

If it's used for what it was designed for, I would agree. When it's used as an effect, it's just ANNOYING. It's like the stupid VOX box when it first came out. Frampton and a few others were really good at using it, but then everybody started doing it, and it got old really fast. Now, the second I hear autotune, I shut it off. It was never meant to be heard.

Fedora is the best, but I need directx 11 and native windows program support for the games I play. Windows Vista was awful, and therefore my primary OS is Windows 7, my secondary Fedora.

I believe it was T-Pain who first used it as an effect, and I guess it's a matter of opinion, but I like it myself.

I currently use Mac OS X, have used every Windows version, Ubuntu and some old stuff I can't remember the name of. I currently also have Windows 7 on a netbook, for testing purposes only.

My laptop runs on Windows XP. When it goes kaput, I'll be getting a MacBook. My least favorite is Windows Vista, which is absolute donkeys***.

For mobile devices, I like iOS. F*** Android.

Why is it that the smart phone war should be fought between iPhone and Android when they follow Symbian and Blackberry by a significant margin in market share?

Because Apple's and Google's marketshare is growing, whereas RIM's and Nokia's are shrinking.

Also, BlackBerries and Nokias are pieces of crap.
