It might be confusing trying to learn different languages at the same time, especially if you haven't mastered the basics of imperative programming.
So I'd stick with one thing at a time after deciding which you want to learn, then move on to the next thing once you feel you've learned enough about one language. Other than that, it's a good idea to explore and just try things out, see for yourself. There are also transferable skills. E.g. if you learn Perl, you'll likely learn about regular expressions. Knowing about regular expressions will be useful in pretty much any language and setting.
