I know the IP address (that is what I meant by the router's page).

It will not load with Firefox or Chrome.

Well that sucks. I've never heard of a router that only loads into IE. --Sorry.

If you've Opera installed, I believe there's a setting which allows you to tell the browser to identify as IE - I used it to get around the IE-Only requirement on a financial website I used to use. This should determine whether or not IE is necessary to access your router's UI, at least.

Hey, thanks!

That is another issue I have been having. I can't log into my bank accounts either.

Opera's good for circumventing stupid IE-only scripts. I've never had any issues arise from using it, but it's always possible that pages might render weird using that method.

I had that problem with dlink routers and firefox a few years ago. It was always recommended to use IE. Some of the firefox privacy options can interfere IIRC. Enabling the option to prevent websites tracking you can apparently interfere with some Linksys routers.

Just to clarify, my wifi is working. It shows as linksys.

But I am still unable to get into the server.

Do you have a laptop with wifi, or even an Android phone or some other wifi device with a browser you can try logging in with?

Odd router.

But for future reference Virtualbox might come in handy rather than wine. (if you have a old version of windows handy).
