Athalon X2 3800+ here. Got it for a song after the price cuts this summer. I also have an HD bottleneck. I'm looking into installing a 200GB SATA RAID 0 array when I have the money. Right now I have a 120GB 7200RPM SATA system drive and a 320GB 7200RPM SATA Media drive. I'm also looking 10k and 15k hard drives but they are still really expensive. I think that RAID is the way to go for the extra speed.

I have an old 286. Overclocking it involves shoveling more coal into the boiler.

I have an AMD 4800+ as my main PC, and my laptop is a Core 2 Duo.

There is also a rather crusty single core AMD 3200+ but thats just an emergency backup.
