Seriously, if you're going to use Windows, you should use the latest version, otherwise you're deliberately leaving yourself behind. If you don't like it, get a Mac, or use Linux.
I know people who still use XP because they say they like it. I watch them struggling along with some dreadful disorganised mess of a thing, taking three times longer to get their work done, just because they refuse to spend 5 minutes learning something new.
Don't use some cruddy old version of an operating system that's going to be obsolete in 5 years. It's important to know how modern computers work.
