I'm looking for a small, light laptop that can keep up...

OK, but are there any Thinkpads with dedicated graphics on MXM cards, or are their integrated graphics simply integrated into the motherboard? The reason why I ask is because I know that graphics cards are failure prone, especially in laptops where you have a lot of heat in a small amount of space, and I want to have the option to simply swap out the GPU if it fails rather than throwing out the whole laptop.

Clevo laptops like the EurocomM3 are probably your best bet for GPU swaps.

If it's a Clevo you want, get a barebones Clevo from here but be forwarned, that if you want a small one, the smallest you can go for an interchangeable GPU is 15.5". which pretty much defeats the purpose of a small and light system. Their 13.3" models have the problematic Nvidia/Intel embedded or Intel shared memory GPU's. --Also, you will probably also have to factor in import duties if you have one shipped from the US to Canada.
