Agreed. I've heard that about a third of the world uses XP (and I think another sizable group uses Windows 7) and quite a few people don't seem to want to move to Windows 8. As such there are already some anti-virus programers that are targeting their advertisement towards folks who will keep on using XP, such as Avast.

Edit: And oh yes, Avast is free if you just get the basic stuff.
