 They're pretty handy, I'll admit.

Like when I see my husband (a fine carpenter! does wonderful finish work) aggravated and cursing a part that won't go on right... and I come in, take a look and flip it to how it is actually supposed to go and it does right away. :D He's pretty physically gifted and I'm so clumsy I'm barely allowed to chop any veg while cooking... so, when I've got something I can do that he struggles with, it makes me feel pretty good.

I think at least my youngest son has got it, too. He's not much of a talker, but, he could use a hex wrench before he could even walk (don't worry, I stopped him before he disassembled his crib after daddy left my set of hex keys nearby).

my mother was able to do that for my dad, see things from outside his perspective and re-orient items to fit better. there is an old [early 50s] pic of my older brother as a toddler, "working" on his toy pedal car with a little wrench, so cute.

I like all the feedback so far!
I found this article interesting- here
Do you think the Big Bang Theory has something to do with it? Many people I know claim it's their favorite/most-watched show..

I like technology and I am a female. I am a software developer.
I worked for several companies in the past, never had other than male colleagues.

it is hoped that one day a young female that you know will look to you for guidance in following you in your footsteps.

I took a STRONG test, and I was highest in engineering and science areas, though I still need a lot more classes to actually be decently educated in or get jobs in those fields.
